1. Just ask — no account needed. Type your question into the input field on the first screen and send it with the arrow or the return key. The first answer works without signing in.

2. Sign in if you want it kept. An account adds saved history, sync across your devices and file storage. There are five ways in: email with a password, a sign-in link by email, a passkey, Google and GitHub. All of them lead to the same account when the same email address is behind them.

3. Keep working. Every answer has a small toolbar: copy, regenerate, edit the question, read aloud, branch off into a new conversation, and delete from here on. The three-dot menu adds share, reply, quote, forward, translate, select text and pin.

Opens the chat and starts voice mode right away. You speak, smejj answers with a voice.

Search the web

Answers with sources, and searches your own history too.

Create images

Opens the chat with an image template — describe what should be in the picture.

Code

Jobs that write or change code. Runs in the background; you can see how far it got at any time.

Operate a browser

smejj drives a real browser for you — opening pages, clicking, filling in forms.

History, Files, Trash

Earlier conversations, what you uploaded or created, and deleted conversations — restorable for 30 days, gone for good after that.

Answers and pictures are generated by AI and can be wrong. Every message and every full-screen image has a Report entry. A report goes to us with the conversation it came from, and a human looks at it. Use it whenever something is offensive, wrong or should not have been produced.

Deleting your account. Open the profile menu, go to My account → My data and use Delete account. You confirm by typing DELETE ACCOUNT. This works for every sign-in method, including Google, GitHub and passkeys, and removes your conversations, files and the account itself.

No answer arrives

Check smejj.com/status first — it says which capability is down and since when.

Offline

The interface and your history stay readable. New answers need a connection, and the app says so.

Voice does not start

iOS and Android ask for microphone access the first time. If you declined it once, turn it back on in the system settings for smejj.com.
